Don Bosco College Boy’s Hostel
Don Bosco College Boys' Hostel was started simultaneously with the College in the Year 2000. Originally the 22 hostellers were accommodated in the quarters meant for the teachers, with Br. James Orappankal as its warden. On June 2002, the hostel was shifted to its present location. In the new location with bigger buildings, the number of hostellers grew.
At present the hostel is a four storied building with a separate wing for Science students. Presently the hostel accommodates 151 students.
The hostel has three types of accommodation:
a) Single room for Science students.
b) Four bedded rooms for Senior students.
c) Six bedded room for common patronage.
These rooms are rented out on a yearly basis with slight variation in room rent.
Fee Structure
Kindly contact the warden.
b) The variables such as sports, recreation, mess fees etc., on an ad hoc basis.
The mess is managed by the boys themselves assisted by some external cooks to keep the cost to the minimum. The Don Bosco College Hostel fees are deliberately kept low in order to cater to the meals of the lower income groups and to provide everyone easy access to higher education in loco, in keeping with Don Bosco College ducational aim: ‘LEARN EXCEL LEAD’
