Maram 22 March 2011: The first Nature Club in Manipur was inaugurated in Don Bosco College,Maram, on the premier college of Manipur. The inauguration took place on the world Earth Day 22^nd March, 2012.  The club penned its motto as “Nurture Nature for Better Feature”. The club is coordinated by Mr. Rajkumar MSc, the HoD of Department of Botany. The club has  80 members. The program began with an introductory speech given by Mr. Najen  BSc Sem 4, Documentation Head of the club,  which was followed by speech from Principal, Rev. Fr. Benny James. Then, the logo was unveiled by the Chief Guest Fr. P O Sebastain, the Rector. All the  Fathers, Sisters and Lecturers were presented a badge each on the day of the inauguration.  The programme concluded with the vote of thanks by Mr. Loveson, the President of Nature Club.
