ADMISSION

College is primarily for the Christian youth, but it is also open to others irrespective of religion or community. Those who have passed the Class X and Class XII Examination or other equivalent courses, may be admitted to Class XI Arts / Commerce and Degree Courses (BA, BSc, BCom, BCA and BSW).

In order to be admitted to Class XI Arts and Commerce, a student should have passed class X examination. A student opting for commerce stream should have secured at least 40% marks in mathematics.

In order to be admitted to Degree Honours courses, a student must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in the subject of his/her choice in the Higher Secondary School Examination. If a student opts for a subject not studied at Hr. Sec. Level for his/her Honours Course, he/she should have obtained an overall aggregate of at least 50% marks.

Application Form and Prospectus will be available from the College Office soon after the Class X and XII results are declared, on payment of Rs. 150/- each.

ADMISSION PROCEDURES

Those seeking admission will have to face an interview and a written examination. Interview will be held on specified days, from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm. The candidate has to come accompanied by parent/guardian along with duly filled form and his/her mark sheet attested by a competent authority and a photo of your parent/guardian.

Ordinarily, admission to the various courses will be made soon after the publication of the results of Class X and Class XII Examination. Admission will be on the basis of the applicant’s merit and selection in the interview. Admission will be closed when sufficient number of students is admitted.

The candidates should be ready to undergo medical test by a doctor, as and when directed by the Principal.

DATES OF ADMISSION

Admissions to Degree – Arts (BA), Commerce (BCom), Science (BSc), Bachelor of Social Wrok (BSW) and Computer Applications (BCA)  is going on.

Prospectus and Admission Forms are available in the College Office, Maram. The cost of Prospectus and Admission Form is Rs. 150/-. The Admission Form can be down loaded from the college website. Such downloaded forms can be submitted to the College Office along with Rs. 150/-

Admission to Plus II Arts and Commerce and Degree Science (Botany, Chemistry, Zoology – Honours), Commerce, Arts (English, Sociology, History, Education and Political Science – Honours), Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Computer (BCA) for the year 2012-2013 is on.
